It's a difficult subject to deal with but an important one. When my dad passed away suddenly, I realised that I had a limited record of his life from my own memories and some photographs but now, a few years later, I have no record or meaningful celebration of his life or his funeral and the people who were there.
We record births, marriages and children's achievements as a matter of course and I believe, to record the end of someone's life with sensitivity is just as important.
Using the latest cameras with silent shutter technology, we will be able to take discreet photos of the ceremony without a camera being heard.
As a celebration of the person's life, we can take a selection of photos that you have, restoring and improving them where possible to document their life.
I would discuss beforehand and attend the funeral with you taking photos from a distance remaining as unobtrusive and sensitively discreet as possible.
A selection of pictures you provide (at a time when you are ready) as well as those from the service will then be combined into a Life Memorial book similar to the examples below for you and your family.
Packages depend on how much or little you want covering as well as the amount of your own photos and the number of pages included within the book.
Basic restoration, digital conversion and editing (where possible) of photos you provide would also be part of the service.
Example: 3 to 4 hour attendance (approx) to cover the church or crematorium service and the wake immediately afterwards
